Cycles Through No Ends

Cycles Through No Ends

A Poem by Travis Lawrence

Smokey fog blurs haze and light
swims between skin and cell separation
without lens like illusion.

Eye sight sways to unfocused objects
cleansed by cloudy silent minds
open to unventilated purity.

Melancholy January suns sigh smoky glaze
through cities of thin spreading clouds
crying gray tears as tea steam in dry sky.

Full moons rise tinted like lightened night
weeps for somber darkness as wisps
engulfed in sad sights of thinning landscapes

Motion perpetuates infinity in circles
like water and life cycles through no ends.
