The Meeting Place

The Meeting Place

A Poem by hattrick1090

I’m going to meet you there

That place that we’ve decided

If you’re first

Then I’ll soon follow

But If I’m there before

Then I will wait.

I’ll wait for two years with a year off

Just like we’d planned

It will give us time

Time to explore

The other vast parts

Of this everlasting land

It might get mundane

Or boring at the least

But I know you’ll make it

And when you get here

It will be a new start

A new world to adventure

To put our mark upon it

But this time

We’ll last forever

this is sweet, because from what i know about you it's probably written to a girl? but i think it's rad that it could go both ways--romantic or friendly. figurative or literal. hopeful or overconfident. great stuff, man.
