asylum

asylum

A Poem by harlem_knight

she unstrapped the ends of my strait jacket
and whispered to my insanity
"be free"
surely she is a few patients short of a whole asylum
to allow me to use her love as my prescription drug.
but without her,
i would of never known the depths of my own madness
a taste of my own lunacy....
