Alone

A little piece of writing I entered in some school writing contest awhile back.

I feel your

                     presence

inside of me

                    a part of my being

crying out to me

                   like some long forgotten song of childhood.

What once was

                  and now is within the silent library of my memory.

 

     I speak your name softly, then I realize I am

                               Alone.
