Behind the Scenes

She walks into school

With a jacket 

Twice her size on.

Nobody seems to notice

That there's something seriously wrong.

She hides behind secrets

Lies and deceit

She's to afraid to tell

What goes on 

Behind the scenes.

She wants to ask for help

But she believes

She won't receive it

So she prays alone silently

Hoping she won't get hit.

A few of us have noticed

And even tried to help.

But she's denied all attempts.

Claiming that she needs to 

Deal with this herself.

I can't stand to see her hurt

But I don't want to lose her trust. 

It's a difficult decision, 

But finally I've decided; 

No matter what she thinks,

Her safety is a must.
