My Best Friend

this is a poem i wrote about me when i was very close to one of my friend but due to some reason he have to depart away but now we are together again and everything seems perfect

i opened my closet i had a look,
there i saw a dusted book.

that book was all about me,
many chapters in it i could see.

i opened the chapter that was most beautiful one,
series of carved memories in my mind did run.

that best chapter was about you,
everything in it was so perfect and true.

when i met you i thought you were drizzling rain,
but you drifted me away like a hurricane.

together our lives we did shared,
for each other we both cared.

you were my friend and my lover,
from your angelic wings you made me cover.

it was all good when time departed us away,
but in my mind you did always stay.

the destiny has bought us together,
like in rain for me you are a pleasant weather.

we will together perfectly blend,
because sweety you are my best friend.
