DAD

DAD

A Poem by SCRIBBLER
"

I just wanted to write something about my dad who is always there for me.

"

He is one never to ask, for a simple thank you.

One who may never boast, for his precious attitude.

He is one with few to say, one whose day is far from dismay.

He just goes on quietly working, with seldom dreams.

He has little wants, but a massive need.

Us, his family.

He is one to share happiness, one who will not remind gloom.

He is there, a firm foundation.

One on which I have situated dreams.

His shoulders able to carry, the weight of my life.

A weight full of stubborn, surprising cries.

A true friend we can turn to, one who can support.

He is one of our greatest blessing. He is the man I call Dad.

Your mother managed to play the role of a father which is a great skill to have.
Wonderful tribute.
My father is a wonderful man, hard working, never asking only giving.
I feel so blessed and am so glad you have this too. Many don't.
