White

White

A Poem by SCRIBBLER
"

The significance of White in our life!

"

White, pristine, unblemished, they say its not a colour.

Its true I believe, since White is much more than mere colour.

Its unique, not like those duplicates.

White stay’s white, not like the others.

Green can turn to dark green, while white is stays the same.

Never changing, staying the same forever.

White, a babies first clothing,

full of innocence and love,

White, a loved ones last.

White, a church’s pride,

full of forgiveness and peace.

White is a balance though out the ground.

White, a blank paper,

but will soon be a talented read.

White, the robe of angels,

spreading mercy and sense when in need.

White is the splendour of the blooming flowers

White, a spark of lightning,

full of relief and fear,

but soon a rocky terrain may drink water without a tear.

White, majesty of a wild stallion,

full of royalty and justice.

White, a sweet nectar flowing through a bee.

White, the youth of a mare,

full of mischief and care.

White, welcomes the winter,

full of peace and quiet.

White, is a choir so sweet to our ears

White, a colour so pure,

filled with a safe feel.

White, colour of an elders hair,

filled with signs of growth.

White isn’t a colour, its a feel.

Its a realisation, a part of this world

White ,a companion through life and death.

No colour could touch the significance of white in this world.

White, in it's purest form, is achromatic - it is a colour without a colour. Of all the colours we can create, white can not be reproduced by mixing any combination of colours. Once it is shaded, it has been tainted, Therefore, your assessment in poetic form is quite accurate. For example, to create an eggshell white, you have to use a pale brown to create the exact tones. Same with beige or cream.

I enjoyed this look at white in our world and how you bring out its use as a symbol for justice, hope, innocence, and purity.

Grammatically speaking, you may (or may not) want to re-read for the use of apostrophes and plurals.

Otherwise, a nice piece.

Yes white may be plain, it does stay the same. It does have many different shades though, So I am sorry to say, white does not stay the same. My favorite choice of white is eggshell. It's the most simple, the most pure, and the one I would choose to paint a kitchen. Lovely poem though. I love what you did with it, white is simple like you have explained it.
But white happens to go on in many different shades, so somehow it is the most complex color, but at the same time it is the most simple.

Thanks Wordman. Any suggestions
White, the color of my hair if I was to let it grow. This is a good assessment of this lack of color. Pure, clean!
You gave your readers a good idea of what white was and is all about. good job.
