lying

lying

A Poem by Don't find me

at times, i'm yellow-bellied.
when the sun falls
and all i can see are splintering shadows.
this is after you. post us.
you thought you knew how to please me.
whispering violently in my ear,
you were rough.
but yet again, i'm making it up.
you knew, and i didn't.

"lying'---this is a tough read-violence recognized-but
blamed or ignored by the other as if that's the norm ???
Humm??? Tell me i am wrong! Please:0(

ah i'm totally not gonna weep, even if it means i don't reread it again. short poems walk a very thin and fragile line in trying to be poetic and full, and this accomplishes both with ease.

can't figure this out.. please explain via message, thanks. it's good though. whispering violently, love that little bit of an oxymoron.
