The bond we had is now forever broken. 

3 years it has been since we've spoken. 

Forgiveness was seen but not held. 

Acceptance I gave but you repelled. 

I'm not the enemy, you just don't understand.

I never wanted anything more than friendship.

You lost me with your sudden demand. 

So we end, angry like a burning filmstrip. 

Don't freight, you will still be in my mind. 

Though I doubt you'd give me the same. 

Friends like me are hard to find.
