Come Home

Come Home

A Poem by Crystal Ellyson
"

A girl who misses and waits for her love to come home

"

I miss Him

I miss the way he smiles at me when he is here with me

I miss seeing the way his green eyes twinkle as he looks at me

I miss the way his hair blows in the wind

I miss the way he holds me at night

I miss the sound of his  voice, but I don't forget the sound of it

I dream of him every night

I cry just thinking about him

I will wait for him to come home to me

He finally came home today

He told me he missed me so much

He held me for a long time, he smiles as he held me

He whispered in my hair as he held me

His beautiful eyes twinkle as he smiles at me

H told me that he loves me

He told me that he would never leave me again

He calls me his one and only true love

He has finally come home

aaaawwww. Crystal, this is heartwarming and beautiful. This reminded me of my mom and dad after his first overseas deployment with the Army. It struck a cord in me, and the emotions that were present, were felt. :) Great job! ^,^
