Time Turned FragileA Poem by Phantasmagoric PerceptionsFor Kriss
Time turned fragile,
Broke when I held it in my hands. Words of glass slipped across my lips And my hourglass ran out of sand I sat idly by as the minutes flowed, Ever slower than before I tried so hard to get out, I tried so hard to reach the door I'm locked in from the outside In this cube of shrinking size The mirrored walls are closing in And I can see myself from every side I look terrible at this angle I found out when time turned fragile I am nothing but a monster, And fear is swift and agile. © 2010 Phantasmagoric Perceptions |
