Car vs. Cliff

Car vs. Cliff

A Poem by Phantasmagoric Perceptions
"

No.

"

I sit and watch the clock spin
And think about the people I've been
Thoughts bounce around and echo
Trying to get out of me

I look at my hands
And see them shake
I clutch the wheel as I lose control
My feet can't reach the brake

I'm careening out of control
I'm running off the edge
All I think about is you
As I free-fall from the ledge

Jagged teeth rip me from my sleep
And draft me up ward to the sky
I greet it with a cry of hate
I don't want to be saved.
