When you love someone you know you shouldn't...

 

 

My heart cries out

In screams of tortured agony

It creates a sinister orchestra

A violent cacophony

 

I'm wrenched and contorted
Run through with consequences

It seems I always step on land mines

After escaping from the trenches

 

I'm choking, drowning, suffocating

Chained to my past by regrets and shame;

Why do I feel so drawn to you

When you're the cause of all my pain?
