Let Me Introduce Myself

Let Me Introduce Myself

A Poem by kelvin

I'm born again, straight from the lion's den.

I'm back, and I'm black, and on the attack,
like a vigilante on all of you who hurt
and mistreat the less fortunate
through lies and hateful acts.

Don't you dare look down upon thee.
For I look down upon you as I strike
you with all things bad of life's mishaps
that you could ever have.

The same ones you pushed down,
lied upon and stepped all over,
are the ones in time you may need.

As i feed my need of lust and desire
for your misfortunes, I recycle others
misfortunes and stow them upon you.

But only ten times worse.

The ones you often laughed at when they
cried, as their heart turned to mere liquid,
and fell into a cup, that you poured on the
ground in the filthy dirt to dry.

Are some of the same ones you come to
for comfort as your heart turns to liquid and
you ask yourself why.

I indulge myself in the fact of feeding on
your life's tragedies and watch as you
crawl in a corner fetal position and
drown in slumber.

So I ask of you, hey my friend why are you
drowning in life's slumber.
Oh how rude of me, let me introduce myself.
For I am a entity no God of misery
only disguising myself to
be known as Bad
Karma!

I have read this a couple of times now, and I can't help but here the Rolling Stones, Sympathy for the Devil in my mind. Again, you have a creative way of looking at things and making the reader pause for thought, nicely done!

Well Thank you so kindly for your intake here i appreciate it very much i do
I agree with Sami Khalil, Karma is very real. Although I think of as something in the nature of "building up good karma." What you are writing about seems to be an entity, which may very well be real also.
Yes, I think you will want to edit this poem--tighten it up a bit more.

Karma is real and it defines our relationships. What goes around will come around for every action has to have an equal and opposite reaction. No doubt about that... So we can't go in life mistreat our fellow man and kill, rape and pillage without justice for it will be paid one way or another. There are laws that God put within ourselves and in nature that no one can change or violate... His will will be done whether we like it or not... He is The Sovereign God...
