You Are Not Anymore Beside Me

A poem for a beloved Lover.....

Laughter and tears are all same for me

As you are not anymore beside me

Your smile your eyes, it all dazzled me

Believe me ... Oh please come back to me

It’s not just your smile and eyes, I want whole of you

I want that hug again, will you?

 

The day you left me, left this world

The pain in my heart unfurled

Is this the punishment I am suffering?

Help me …my love for life keeps on shearing

You are the drug that goes through my veins

And babe it’s only you that relieves me from my pain

 

At night I look up at the stars and search for you

But I couldn’t find you, so I decided to come to you

Now I don’t fear death I smile at it, as I did to you

As it is the only way left for me to get to you

So let’s get together, but you have to wait for me

First let me beg this world, to forgive me

 

Laughter and tears are all same for me

As you are not anymore beside me.
