TRUTH

Do you want to see the truth,
Yeah, that was lying on your tablecloth,
As a newspaper,
On the screen of your LED TV,
In your Facebook newsfeed or whatsapp
messenger,
Like a b*****d fellow,
Changing its face as the place changes?
You must be a buyer of truth.
But how could you know
What legitimate politics are
When marketing media
Are burying the seeds of truth
and cultivating
A crop of multifaceted truths,
To offer a bumper sale of truths,
Of all kinds,
To suit your religion, your nationality and your
pocket.
They can sell even,
Your sorrows, your tears,
Your love, your rapes,
Your starving stomachs,
Your acid-burned faces,
Your livers, your kidneys,
Your aborted wombs,
Your bribes, your corruption,
Your hopes, your failures,,
And even your souls.
So they thought to bury the souls,
To cultivate a generation of dead souls.
And, to our utter astonishment,
Souls have no objections to being buried.
Under earth is a better place,
As being blind is better than to act blind.
The only thing that matters to them
Is TRP and Bank of Votes ,
The caste system and sectarian politics,
Making a joke of Truth.
And it does not matter,
It does not matter even to us.
But soon a time will come
When it will matter to us! But,
We will already have become only matter,
B*****d matter.

Wow!!! what a meaningful write... I agree with you on this completely. Actually they are not serving the news, they are serving the opinions. Most of the news channels are owned by big business houses and politicians, so they use it as a tool to fulfill their agenda... good one!!!
