Bye Forever

Bye Forever

A Poem by hardeep sabharwal
"

Written during my college days

"
Today, I am accepting, that I failed,
In my relations with all of you,
Can I say that it was all smooth,
And it is a sudden hamorrhage?
Just laughing, eating , sitting together,
To watch a few favorite movies,
Cannot help us to make things perfect,
No, it is not in my blood, to be,
Hippocritical and survive on the past,
A myth of paradise in a vacuum,
Filled with blunders and communal talk,
That burst and cover the entire state,
A heart, when it wants to mingle,
Should overcome trivial prejudices,
But ,when it was not in us,
Let us try to elaborate once more,
Meaning of true friendship,
And free ourselves for more options,
Or still better be alone with nature,
To satiate the hidden selves,
So it is the time I choose dear,
To say you goodbye, bye forever.

Its well composed and well expressed ..The lines give a strong impression on how the society creeps into darkness of misfortunes to have suffered from the hypocrites and how one tries to relieve himself off this infectious wound :
No, it is not in my blood, to be,
Hippocritical and survive on the past,
A myth of paradise in a vacuum,
Filled with blunders and communal talk,
That burst and cover the entire state..

very well written..

Hey, Hardeep, sorry for my late arrival, this is a very honest piece, a bit sad, but in truth it’s uplifting, because in order to move forward to take that first ‘full’ step, you must rip feet from the hand gripping your ankle and holding you back, even if the person/persons attached to that grip is a heart wrenching endeavor. Well done.

Thanks a lot my dear friend :)
heart-touching. it doesnt feel like you have taken inspiration from somewhere to write this poem, instead its more like you expressed your sorrow in words.

Thanks, little sister :)
Though it is a saddest account of the even yet more powerful is the appeal to letting free for more option and it is better to be live lonely than a bad company...
The last I like most...
Let us try to elaborate once more,
Meaning of true friendship,
And free ourselves for more options,
Or still better be alone with nature,
To satiate the hidden selves,
So it is the time I choose dear,
To say you goodbye, bye forever.

Your poem is very sad, but shows a healthy recognition of when the kindest thing left is to let a relationship end.
