The end of illusions,
Is not very smooth, neither rough,
Yet it is not less painful,
Than the illusion itself,
The hungers of the soul,
Are not really bubbling now,
Yet it is not dead, neither living,
as it was ever,
The haste to elope,
Is delaying its zenith,
Yet it is not slow, neither sombre,
In its desire to flourish
No one can say that coincidences don't exsist. I am reading a book with that title the future of illusions....
And this writing has a lot to do with it. Great expression of become aware fo that which we don't need for the sake to bring forward that which really belongs to us but was covered under infinite layers of illusions.
One could find alot of meaning here.
Thankyou

thanks for reading and liking .. read moreyes its life and many a times we see these coincidences,
an excellent poem, illusions can be tough to deal with when they are burst like a bubble, the hunger of the soul as you so rightly say is neither dead nor living but always perpetual, great writing Hardeep :)
Very beautiful and meaningful words my friend.
Leaving illusions behind to face reality...
Never an easy thing but we eventually feel lighter as we unburden ourselves.
You've presented your themes in a very sophisticated set of lines. Every line is beautiful.
NOTES: All your lines are meaningful. But, for the sake of meter, if that matters at all (and I don't believe it matters all that much), I've made some suggestions:

Hardeep Sabharwal describes himself as person of few words. He is one of millions of middle class Indians who do not have any ideology; they only want to live a peaceful life. The thing that hurts him.. more..
