Philosophy

Philosophy

A Poem by hardeep sabharwal

Philosophy visit everyday
Though with a different face,
it proposes
to seek approval
But who can help those
who are in consistent in thoughts
And are rendering between
Alpha and omega
who do not want to think above
Narrow self
for them whole world is contracted
Within the self
Within the momentarily sorrows
what philosophy can do for them
Who do not want to see above
At rays of hope
And love only blackness
Limited only to the conditions
Of heart, they reject
They deject
Philosophy is not for unliving
It is from selfishness to
Self realization
Not limited to the halfness of humanity
Is in the completeness of universality
Accept it and transcend selves
Finite to infinite
It is what philosophy says
It is what vitality says

Wowzers batman! This made my brain hurt. I have to admit I am not the brightest crayon in the box, and I had to read this several times to find out what the jolly eff was going on....BUT once my brain computed I discovered great depth and knowledge within these lines. The power in your words left great thought and wonderment. I felt the urge to research after reading this! Thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much briana for such a nice review

Very deep and well written. I especially like the line where the transition is made from selfishness to self-realization- turning a negative into a positive.

Positivity triumphs negative energy! Brilliant thoughts Hardeep! It is inspirational :) Philosophy has never been easy and sweet, neither is this.

sheer rawness and sheer truth . this is what the mainstream philosophy has become . the vision has narrowed over the time . i enjoyed reading it . good job :)

Thanks ......... :)
Very astute...I literally had to read more than twice to understand the profundity that lies within. It invoked in me a discovery into the self. Thanks!

Thanks Megha a lot
there are some pretty powerful truths in these lines.. takes someone looking deep and reflecting for that self-realization that is needed.. most people don't bother, and I have yet to understand why.. I guess it is the selfishness that keeps them thinking that it is not needed.. egos stand in the way maybe.. I dunno.. narrow selves indeed.. what a deep, thought-provoking write.. well done!

Some people deliberately turn away from what will help them. They see only the walls around them and not what is above. THey think they are dealing with reality while missing the whole concept of life.

I like the poem. Don't know if I agree with philosophy but I like how you write and what you write.

Thanks george for liking this
It so true that people wallow in their trouble… trapped within their own skins… never looking far enough to see the pain nor the blessings in all the world around them.

NOTES:
who are [inconsistent] in thoughts
Within the [momentary]
[what can philosophy] do for them
[They who don't don't] want to see above
[It's} in the completeness of universality
