A New Kind of Love

A New Kind of Love

A Poem by HappySad

A New Kind of Love.

My heart opens wide.

There’s no defense, no pretense, I’m selfless, I’m helpless.

Only you have seen what’s inside.

I bared it, I’ve shared it, I can only do my best, I try.

A new kind of Love. A helpless dove.

This time I will not leave. I won’t spread my wings and fly.

When someone want to stay. A wonderful place for two people.
"A new kind of Love. A helpless dove.
This time I will not leave. I won’t spread my wings and fly."
The above lines. Is it giving-up or giving into the sweet emotion of love? Love should be utopia, not a prison. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry. You made me think tonight.
