Musings for a Muse

Musings for a Muse

A Poem by Willy P
"

A collection of very short poems I wrote for someone.

"
When fair sleep my mind dispels,
And thoughts begin to start...
I can only think of you.
Again, you steal my heart.

What does it mean to be in love?
What does it mean to shine?
Like a star cast in the sea,
will you be forever mine?

To hold you in my arms once more,
To meet your sparkling eyes,
Is all that I would ask of life,
You'd be my only prize.

Your rhythmic rise and fall of breath
Can make me smile for hours.
To feel it underneath my hand,
I'm already in your powers.

When last I left you poetry, you met it with a laugh,
Which kinda hurt and left me wond'ring, had I made a gaffe?
And so I thought I'd take a chance and try my hand again,
Because you see, your figure is so callipygian.
