Arid Euphoria

Arid Euphoria

A Poem by Madame Mystique

Arid Euphoria

Cracked and heavy

Slow and monotone

A great description of her heart.

Afraid of exposure

She clings to herself

Self betrayal is only a myth.

 Everyone is curious

But no one really cares

Solitude a genuine companion.

Paper and Ink

Ally one final time

Before she truly vanishes without a trace.
