Dearest Unknown

You don’t know me… yet

Neither do I to be honest

Often I wonder what would happen if we met.

 

Are you looking up at the sky?

Is it blue like mine?

Is the moon dancing up there high?

 

Please do not be alarmed

I’m still a novice in love

Past experiences have left me quite harmed.

 

I want to kiss you

And hold you close

My sentiments and genuine and true.
