Ghoulish SnoozeA Poem by Madame MystiqueA medley of nightmaresGhoulish Snooze In an abandoned cornfield Dry husks and bloody skies Bogeymen embracing dead twigs Snap! In her direction the angry flock came She used her arms …her sole shield.
Suddenly she took quite a tumble Unsteady and tilted Her house hung on the edge of vertigo The slightest breeze could make it all crumble.
Last night she trashed with dread Heavy and clogged breaths She took cover in Poison Ivy Rashes and trails of crimson Were enough to get her screaming out of bed.
