Petrels' song

Petrels' song

A Poem by dan nacario

O! Tranquil sheep of heaven's gate,
And vanquished soul of maidens' mate.
A gush of monody shall lead
Wandering across fields of reed.

The endless circles shall be torn,
To break the silence before dawn.
When angels meet to play their lute,
To calm the time when stars are mute.

Your litten moon shall soon know death,
Without the sky, nor dirge, nor wreath
Like petrels' song in winter's night,
To free the souls from chains of blight.
