Crucify the Siren

Crucify the Siren

A Poem by dan nacario

Mar the silence of gilded wave.
Rotten tombstone of galleons' grave.
Strike the angels golden lyre,
Veil the voice of beauty so dire.

Sleep, sleep by the moon so silent,
Pillowed by the acrid current.
Listen? Shall I listen once more?
If thou sing the song I adore.

Oh! Seraphs' council let this be,
Such love live in the heart of thee.
Would you crucify the siren?
If moonlight ignores to listen?
