The Children and the BearA Poem by happilyeveraftera nonsense poemThe children scaled the mountainside. There was nowhere to run. There was nowhere to hide
from the bear hot on their heels who wanted to make them Happy Meals
for her hungry little brood who-all winter long- had gone without food.
The children spotted a cliffside lair and one of them shouted, "Let's hide there!".
The mother bear smiled at the children naive. Lunch had never been easier to retrieve!
The children barely put up a fight and tasted better than mom's Moose Delight.
The moral of the story? None. It was just for laughs, just for fun-
for my horror-loving friends who hate tidy, happy ends! © 2011 happilyeverafter |
