Mothers DayA Poem by New Dawn
You tip-toe in laden with gifts, a tray of too sweet tea and overdone toast that sheds crumbs upon the bed. Little glass vase of hand-picked flowers harvested from beneath the apple tree, and a card diligently adorned with felt tip hearts, yet it's the shy smile drawn to your face by my heartfelt thanks that is the sweetest gift this mothers day morn. © 2013 New DawnReviews
