Marmalade VodkaA Poem by New Dawnsuffering the after effects of my parents wedding dayVodka bruised brain attempts to break free from the confines of my skull, pulsating with alien- like intensity. Oh to have a fine- bored drill that I might relieve the pressure, and quell the nauseating rise and fall accompanying every motion. If only the clock would reverse its' hands that I might have the wisdom to decline the offered glass, and knowingly resist the allure of this demonic marmalade drink. © 2012 New DawnReviews
