Pension funds that are based within New York are also seeking to access Activision Blizzard's records in order to examine the involvement by Chief Executive Officer Bobby Kotick in managing the company's $68.7 billion purchase by Microsoft it announced in January.

The game has already sold over 10 million copies however, it's also the topic of discussion with many video game players who are even celebrities. One of the celebrities who seem to be in love with the game is musician and rapper Post Malone. And while Malone might be enjoying his time in the Lands Between, he says that he cannot participate in Elden Ring unless he turns the music that is in-game off.

On the most recent show on Hot Ones, Post Malone was asked about his love of video games, particularly in relation to music. In the response, Malone asked host Sean Evans whether he was doing Elden Ring for himself.

Evans claimed that he had not before, which led to Malone proposing the game. However, despite this suggestion, Post Malone explained that it is his responsibility to switch the music off when performing Elden Ring because it stresses his body too much.

"I switch the music completely off [in Elden Ring] because it is crazy. It's almost like choirs not of angels but however, they're of demons. And they're like, 'We're going to f*** you to death.' It's impossible to will survive," Post Malone said of the game's soundtrack. "After an incident I'm shaking so much that I have to walk outside to smoke, and I'm like, 'I have to decompress.'"
