Empty HandA Poem by Gabriel Gloria D.C.An insight poem about glut giving.Empty Hand By DC I walked out empty handed granted to me as I was. Why was no penny left to fortune givers? Is it time that begets thee and punish me of jealousy, Is it selflessness that looks on the spirit and serves destiny carelessly, Why do city lights keep shining if creeps hides in relentless dark happiness? This and that we write of love we bear on thy futile land, Yet we walk on curios lands with no chains and grip from reality. We thought life could have no consequences, that in order for our hearts to flourish in this times, that it needs to be selfish and arrogant in their little ways. But what if we are the the impulsive ones? We are giving and selfish on our emotions, that it left your soul hanging on wasted bridge. We are selfish on our passion that it never reached the silhouettes. Of all of this things with barren shape and its original form, We are always limited on our selfishness on desires that we never did express it.
