Please Stop Fighting!

A poem that may describe how you feel when your friends are fighting and you are stuck in the middle.

I hope you don’t see this as rude,

But this I just need to tell you.

 

I really hope your fighting ends;

I love you both as my friends.

 

I hope you can figure out things;

You’re just hurting each others’ feelings.

 

I really hate to see you cry;

I really care about you guys.

 

I hope you can again be friends;

I hope you can tie up loose ends.

 

I hope you can try to make up;

I know friendship can be tough.

 

I wrote this poem just now,

So that I could show you how

 

Fighting doesn’t solve anything,

So please, for me, stop arguing.

 

You have been friends for a long time,

So I hope this little rhyme,

 

Will remind you

Of the simple truth

 

That you are a perfect pair.

Of this I hope you are aware,

 

So please stop fighting!

 

Your fighting almost brought me to tears

I haven’t cried in several years.

That’s how your fighting is affecting me

That your friendship remains is my only plea.

Think about what I’ve said, I pray.

Let me know by the end of the day

If I’ve helped the situation in any way.
