![]() a little to youngA Poem by hmarieee
Your 16 years young and you think you know what life's about
Horrified when the truth really comes out Being so young, naive It's unreal To see the truth of what happens When you unfold the seal Thinking you know it all But you don't Reading that letter Things don't get any better Your dads an alcoholic and your moms not doing any better I guess it was truth be told Some things are better left unsaid Some people just don't realize that And try to get in the way They think its all about them and its all just happy days Not for the ones who open the letters The letters of those who passed it on to the ones unseen The kids who were happy The ones just like you and me But some aren't so lucky Others see it to easily Be careful who you let in on your secrets Keep it between you and that paper the one person who won't tell Untill someone passes it down to a kid at 16 and makes there life a living hell What I'm trying to say, can't you see. I got my letter a little to early. © 2013 hmarieeeReviews
