Some Things Will Never Change

Some Things Will Never Change

A Poem by Parachutes and Sunshine

Someone please explain to me
how one simple feature,
one seemingly meaningless feature,
could cause such an uproar.
However, it's unavoidable.
Like a blinking sign on my face,
telling everyone to ignore my personality,
ignore any good thoughts of me,
and only focus on it.
It really is a selfish little thing, isn't it?
Forcing snap judgements upon me.
It seems to me,
that it probably shouldn't matter.
But why is it that it does?
Sometimes I think of it as a weather machine.
Because sometimes,
it can make it rain harder than any storm I've ever seen.
A terrible storm,
soaking my face,
with salty water,
crushing my spirits.
I suppose, though,
I should fake a smile.
Maybe someday it will become true.
Because some things will never change.

Sometime can't pay attention to foolish people. People like to find weaknesses. Change can come when you are older and can choose your friends and life. I tell people always look at the value of the person speaking. Some people like to hear themselves talking. Change is life. Some for good and some is bad. Than you for a excellent poem. Open the doors to more questions.
