The Silver Sphere

The Silver Sphere

A Poem by Hannah Lee
"

something i wrote for someone that wanted me to write something on werewolves or shape shifters. Cuz i had only written alot of stuff on vampires.

"

The Silver Sphere above my head..
against the dark it shines..
making my heart sing a lovely song..
to the Goddess of the Moon, Selene.

I take my first step..
my heart starts to beat rapidly..
to the music that sings throughout my body..

I start to strip out of my clothes...
I feel the ground.. cool and damp under my feet..
I lift my head and close my eyes..
to feel the rays of this Silver Sphere..
a feeling inside I must let out..

I take another step and I'm on my hands and knees..
in the darkness above..
I see the Silver Sphere..

my spine cracking..

my bones breaking..

my mouth shaping for what its needed for.. a howl..

I howl a long deep howl..
a feeling of both pain and pleasure..
running through my body..
a thick coat of shiny white hair runs across my skin..
a gift that has been givin to me by, Her.

I feel the ground under my paws..
as I run through the woods.

I look up at the silver sphere..
and I thank my goddess..

...for she has set me free.

Wow. Very nice poem.... I like the fact that even though your poem suggests something scary like werewolf, it still was able to keep the mood...
