Zebra

Zebra

A Poem by HannahW
"

ekphrasis

"
stark black, blinding white
haphazard brushstrokes
lit from within

piercing gaze, survival
into the distance travels the stare
foe? friend?
no time to waste

eternity in eyes
surrounded by opposites
together in one.
everything at once, paradox.
