A Frogs' Story

A Frogs' Story

A Frogs Story

Once upon a time in a far away land
Stood a princess with a frog in hand
She heard that if she kissed a toad upon his head
A Prince would appear and take her hand
So she kissed it like two song birds would kiss
She kissed and kissed and he would not appear
So she put him down and cried a lake full of tears
She sat on a toadstool and cried some more
Until a toad in the lake popped out and ask
“What are you crying for?”
She explained the circumstances and what she had did
And he said oh lovely lady do not cry
For I’ am the one that will stand by your side
Give me a kiss upon my scaly lips and I will turn into a prince
So she thought I’ shall give it one more shot
And touched her precious lips to his and he DID turn into a prince
She was so happy and she thought why stop at one frog
So she grabbed 3 more and kissed them too
Then a sore came upon her lip and then the first prince said
You’re a fool there is only one out there for you
Why can’t you be happy with a prince like me?
She said I love you I do
I thought I would kiss some more frogs upon the lips
That they would turn into a prince like you
So I could have you forever and that I will do
So without listening to a word he said
She went out and kissed some more amphibians
They each did turn into a lovely prince
But they beat her and abused her till her deaths end
So while she was lying on deaths bed
She looked at her first prince and said
I’m sorry prince for I ‘am a fool
I should of took your advice and stuck with you
He said I know princess you are a fool
I hate to say this but I told you!
