No one is you and that is your power.

In my perspective, taking away someone's happiness is the worst possible thing. Even if that person took away your happiness, you have absolutely no right to go and take theirs. Yeah, it may seem wrong and you feel the need to get back at them and do the same, but you shouldn't. Although nothing in this world or any words that will or have been said will ever change the way people harshly talk to and treat each other, I think we can all step up and at least try to talk some sense into the people who feel the need to be harsh and disrespectful. When you're being rude or disrespectful to somebody, you don't necessarily think about their feelings and how bad they may be hurt. You don't necessarily think about if they have any problems going on in their life right now that you may be pushing further. You don't necessarily think about if that person has been at such a low stage in their life as to where they might have been depressed or contemplating suicide. Or maybe that person you're speaking harshly to or putting down may be struggling with depression and suicide now, and you're pushing them to the limit where they absolutely figure out that they don't want to exist anymore. How would you even live with that guilt of knowing that one person who's life you could've made better is now dead because you decided to make them feel worse? When suffering from depression, it's hard to keep a smiling face and it's most definitely hard to at least try to keep happy. Just when you think you're getting better, that one person comes and brings you down and you realize you were never really 'getting better' at all. I think most of the people in this society need to step up and realize the world is only getting worse just because of them. We're losing innocent people to suicide only because no one knows how to be nice and at least respectful anymore. Remember that no one is you, and that is your power. Remember that no one can ever take your happiness if you don't let them. Remember that you are one person out of 7 billion people on this earth and God made you for different and unique, but specific, reasons. And one reason is to be happy. Don't let anyone take what you've been given. That is your power.
