My people

My people, we walk around and spread happiness

That is a job the we the have

A task from God, that we should nod

Something we should never deny

We all have hopes and dreams

Always believe, there is no limit

Go beyond your dreams

Don’t expect to achieve it so easily, you’ll break a sweat from now and then

But that’s what life is, life is a path

A path that you’ll walk, you’ll never know where it’s going to stop

Don’t expect the path to be smooth as silk

But always expect and be prepared for the things you never saw coming

Wow, you give off such a positive vibe whenever I read your poetry. I like it though. I love the idea that you have in this one. My interpretation of this poem is the tasks of Christians. It is hard for Christians in the world that we are living in. We are tempted by sin and we often have Satan trying to feed us this sin that everyone else is involved in. As humans, it is a natural instinct to want to go with the flow with everyone else and not get left out. Personally, I would rather be left out than be left behind on judgment day. I don't know if this is the message that you were trying to bring but I gathered it from the title and the first couple of lines. If I am correct, I am glad that you are associating with the right crew. It is just my thought or pet peeve but... (please capitalize the "G" in God.) God is a proper noun and he deserves that recognition of being capitalized instead of being a common noun. The differences in a common noun and a proper noun- a common noun: are simply words that are places, ideas, names, things. ex. house and a proper noun-gives the specific name of an idea, name, thing, etc. ex: God. He will always stand as a proper noun to me. You don't have to change that. That is how I view it. Pure excellence.
