And I wish i could be where you are ...

Someday you will be caught
Caught in your own thoughts..
Someday you will realize how I felt,
when you turned your back on me...

It isn't the moment that passed
It is about each day that I live ...
I have forgotten what sleep is
I know not what a smile means ...

I'm hurt, not because you left
For your leaving was inevitable
I'm hurt because I hurt them..
The ones who just never left...

For all I did, was to see you smile ..
You filled me up with pain..
and with a silence, that ripped my soul
You burnt me in my own tears... Alive ...

I have been living this feeling for the last six months and you have expressed it so well here in this outpouring, if only there was a way to see how our actions will effect others before hand, all we can do is do what we think is best and keep trying to help what we hurt; and if not ourselves then others who feel this too; along the way. lovely write.
