I GAZE AT THE STARRY SKY

Xavier Festival Days in our university. I wrote this poem while sitting on a bench somewhere in the corner of the large field. A lot of people were there. But I was alone nevertheless."

 I was alone in the park that night

Yesternight

And I gazed in the twinkling stars in the sky

I sigh

I am far from home and you

I do

Shed willowy tears of sadness

What a mess

My head fell; I thought other would see me

Let it be

I miss you and look again at the stars in the sky

I sigh

Deep in my heart I hold on to that light

That starry night
