Those Dark NightsA Poem by HamonoAkiraAn undated poem I wrote way back in grade school
It was when the precious rays of the sun dimmed And one would grasp someone he missed When the crickets and cicadas came to a halt Everything came silent.
Nothingness grabbed the little country Where each eye looked around and took fancy As little clouds disappeared and got flaky As little clouds emerged and got the county.
Light cannot be seen Nor can it be touched
Nor you see a single streak peeping through the chaos
Nor you see any latch move. Or hear harsh screams groove.
Hear rats squeak Getting faint and weak Hear a small leak Everything came silent.
Nothing is as beautiful as dawn Or as pure as sweet-perfumed dew But as light began to be born Everything else came silent.
