Wisteria Fields

Wisteria Fields

A Poem by HamonoAkira
"

I wrote this on the day I discovered my new name.

"

What should I say wisteria feilds

What should my toungue utter
So that you will begone from your infidelity to your father and your mother and your brother and your sister?
What should I speak so that you will come home to your house in the woodland of the east?
Whatever has been done has been done
But you never learn from them
You never sought the counsel or the wisdom of the old
Of the unspeaking wisdom immemorial
A sword shall be drawn, if it must be
And pierce you to your heart
You will roar in pain and in anguish
And you will eat the dirt that your foot once tread
You will be brought back unwillingly to where you come from
Your hope for earning fruits futile
Heed now my words, wisteria fields
And all these anguish will never happen
Should the cistern of the dry, barren desert be empty
Dig for new ones and in the drought
You shall have water.

This was written well with restrained feeling and expressed subtly. Well done.
