Repentance for the Mammon-lover in Us

Repentance for the Mammon-lover in Us

A Poem by HamonoAkira
"

Had a fight with my mom.

"

 Repent O Land of Gold

That you may be seen as a repenting w***e
And be pardoned from all you inequities
With the lowly and those who are meek
Repent and bow you heads down
All your husbands are dead
They have surrendered all to the Armies of Zion
Repent now while there is still time
How fast the day breaks, so shall it end
Receive the shower of pardon
And be pardoned
My heart beats for your demise
It does not beat so tranquil as before I swore it for you
Arrest shall take me, my heart grieves
At your proud and succulent brow
Bow now, bow down
That when the hew of justice may come upon you
You may not be hit at all
And may mercy be upon you
Repent O Land of Gold
Repent like the days of the young doe
Uncertain though of the life that is to come
Yet prepared nevertheless
Repent now, repent forever
While there is still time
Repent O Land of Gold
Bow and save your head.

A good line the proud and succulent brow. Full of feeling on a topic not so known nor ventured.
