The Mellow Melody

I had a fight with her.

I sang a silent song that no one heard

But you saw me standing silly with running lips

And you listened to my song

And my world flips

I wrote a blank letter that no one read

But you saw me writing silly nothing

And you understood me

That was indeed something

You saw me played dumb melody

You saw me write stupid songs

The days and time float by

It was you I long.

Whoa... This poem leaves me speechless. It really makes you think how much you can do that you think no one else sees when really, they do. "Actions speaks louder than words." I don't always think that is true but it goes with this poem. Your poetry is amazing. It says so much in just a few simple lines. But you have to really think about it... I like that...
