wrote this one at the office while pondering on some random things...

We tell that to ourselves everyday so we could pretend
That every virtue in the world is lost
For us left, nothing is
And we venture into the murks
Of the low and deep mundane
Each man desires
We lost our lives
Our love
Our hopes
And we know it
For a whisper then came
We open our eyes
We cannot change

Simply amazing. The point is, to me at least, that we shouldn't have to change. Sometimes, when rough things come our way, we may want to change them or ourselves even though we can't. In the long run though, I think it is for the better. Everything we have gone through only makes us who we are and helps us to be stronger.
