Encouraged by the notion of friendly environment, scientists have been striving for more energy-saving alternatives. As a result, lighting systems have made great progress in the past decades. Emerging lighting technologies show up one after another from fluorescent to mercury lights. Today, however, LED lighting is heavily favored to become the most desirable option.

Statistically, LED lights consume about three-forth, even four-fifth less electricity than traditional incandescent bulbs. Put another way, this makes it possible for owners to reduce their energy bills by 80% approximately, though new technology products often cost more than traditional ones at the beginning.

Among these new technology products, LED candle bulbs are gaining popularity recently. These small candle light bulbs are good at conserving power and bring a sense of aesthetics at the same time. We may have noticed that what glitter on Christmas trees nowadays are colorful candle bulbs instead of traditional real candles. In many other cases they are applied to candle-shaped chandeliers or hallowed places. They give off less heat and are desirable for tight or enclosed spaces where high heat or open flames can cause danger. Imagine the candles on a chandelier are burned out and beyond reach"what a tricky stuff to replace them! Also, LED candle bulbs perfectly settle the problem that children and pets might knock candles over.

As LED light bulbs don’t need igniting, smoke are avoided. This is not making a mountain out of a molehill but does contribute to environmental conservation. We don’t have to put up with the wax left on tables, the smell emitted or even the sputter when candles burn. Plus, compared to real candles, LED candle bulbs are granted with dramatically longer lifetime so much so that owner will definitely save a respectable sum of money in the long run.

Taken all together, switching to LED candle bulbs is a sure way of saving money and energy, and that’s exactly what really matters.
