Persian Rug Cleaning Methods

Persian rug is known all over the world for its uniqueness and unmatched beauty, that's why mostly its very expensive. However, no matter how expensive and beautiful it is, besides to add an aesthetical value to your house, a rug also functions as dust and soil absorber. A rug can absorb a large portion of dust particles keeping the room looks clean.

 

Persian rug cleaning is required when it's been long enough the rug is absorbing dirt and soil, besides it will make the rug clean again and to have cleaner air inside te house, the proper cleaning will also make the rug last longer.

 

There are a few methods of oriental rug cleaning process, depending on the dirtiness level of the rug. The most basic cleaning method is vacuum cleaning. This is something you should do regularly, for a regular home once in a week is enough. However, rugs in office will require vacuuming on a daily basis due to heavy traffic.

 

Next method is washing with clean water. You do this when you find a fresh stain on the rug. You can use a thick cloth and put it over the stain then leave it for one night. If the stain is not too stubborn, the water and thick cloth will be able to remove it, but if not, we should go to the next method for our  Persian rug cleaning.

 

The next method is to remove a difficult stain by using a mix of water and vinegar, you can also add a safe rug cleanser. Apply the solution unto the stain then put a thick cloth on top of it, or you can wipe it gently with the cloth.

 

Finally you can use the dry cleaning method. This is a Persian rug cleaning method by using a special solution and tools. Even though today you can find many dry cleaning solutions and equipment being sold in supermarkets, but it's best to leave the dry cleaning process to professionals for maximum results.
