Forgiveness- A Blessing

When the crack of dawn glowed, I
forgave you,
What you caused to me yesterday, I
Forgot.
I ignored my scars then condoned
your brutality.
For the sake of Almighty, I forgave.
Those birds, flying over the street,
taught me.
How to pardon;
The slayers of our loved ones,
And the destroyers of our houses,
Those birds without prejudice,
forgive all.
Those who caged them, they
forgave all.
And, now in this world filled with
misery and despair;
My spine stabbed with a thousand
knives,
But, I stood peacefully and I live
with my heart placid,
For I forgave those having dagger in
their hand.
For the sake of God, I forgave.
And this is what I hope for from you
Forgive me for what I have done.
Not for my sake as I don’t deserve.
But for the sake of Almighty,
And with the thought in mind I
forgave
And for the same you do forgive
That we are contributing for peace,
Peace of our Heart and Peace of our
world.
Forgive them; forget your wounds,
but not what they taught you,
